Black Tie Ballroom Dance with the Ewan Bleach Quintet

Vintage 1930s dance music records and two sets from the Ewan Bleach quinter, with some vocals by Alistair Sutherland. Ewan Bleach is the UK’s number one clarinetist, performs mainly swing music but also dabbles in Latin and ballroom. We are fortunate to have got him and his band members- who are all skilled musicians
Dress code is, as usual, black tie and evening dress only.
Four or five male and female taxi dancers will be available at no additional charge for the benefit of all our guests. Quickstep bus stop, showball waltz and a Paul Jones are all group activities. which all guests are encouraged to join in with. We provide complimentary tea and sparkling water and you may bring your own drinks if you are discreet.
There will be a lesson for improvers in quickstep, taught by Raymond Root, before the dance starts, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Entry to this class is included in the standard ticket price
As it is my birthday I will be laying on an Indian vegetarian buffet meal which will be available at no additional charge for all guests.This will be cooked and served by the excellent in house Indian restaurant (The building we’re in is the Indian YMCA)
